We began today with a medal count update (Go Canada!) and our Daily Gram. Then we had Bible, and we had an object lesson about how three parts can make a whole, like an apple (peel, flesh and core) and like God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit).
Then we had Independent Reading and Spelling (Olympic words). This was followed by WW and many of the children are going on to a choice writing, which means they get to choose what they write about.
The students had Music after Recess, and then Math. The 4's learned about area, using square centimetres (cm2) and the 3's continued working on perimeter.
During S.S. today we talked about the homes of a few different aboriginal groups. The students are working on a small art assignment about these as well.
