- Opening exercises - the students wrote a journal entry about their favourite room in their houses today
- Spelling test - almost everyone achieved 10/10! Way to go children!
- R.W. - the class had independent reading
- W.W. - we continued on our 'All About Me' writing
- Math - Grade 4 worked with Venn diagrams while the 3's completed addition tables
- Music - with Mrs. Schmitt
- Computers - we worked on All the Right Type today
- Science - we discussed the differences and similarities between the day and night sky (and appreciated a cross-curricular connection between Math and Science as we used Venn diagrams for this). Your child has homework that requires they stay up past dark one night this weekend, preferably Saturday or Sunday when it's supposed to be a clear sky. :)
- Art - the class painted pictures of the sky (yet another cross-curricular connection!)
