Good afternoon families! We had a great day today, beginning with RW where we finished up the Ch. 17 Charlotte's Web pages. Then it was on to WW and the class was excited because we started our animal research projects today! This will take a few weeks, but so much learning will take place. I gave them a web organizer to begin their research today, focusing on physical qualities, food, enemies, habitat, family and interesting facts. We will use books and the Internet to help with our research.
After recess we had Math, and the 3's finished up their work on addition and multiplication sentences while the 4's learned how to multiply 2 digit by 1 digit numbers. Please continue to work on basic facts at home!
Mr. Banman had them next for P.E. and P.O.W., and then we had lunch. Afterwards we finished our day with further lessons on Cartier's voyages to North America.
