We did start the day with a tiny bit of work, as the children got their Spelling words for the week. Then after a short time of independent reading we were on our way! We met up with a tour guide at the first building in the Fort, and then made our way around through the morning. After we finished at the bastions we did our own tour of some of the buildings the students wanted to see but that hadn't been part of our planned tour. Be sure to ask your child about how they helped out Andrew with the wood! We concluded our trip with a picnic together outside of the Fort, and then headed back to school just in time for chapel.
